§ 38-4-12. Water rates.

(A) 

There shall be established, commencing September 1, 2018, the following rates and charges for the use of the water system of the Village based upon the amount of water consumed as follows:

(1) 

Water rates inside Village.

(a) 

First 1,000 gallons per month: minimum charge of $16 per month.

(b) 

Over 1,000 gallons per month: $0.0095 per gallon.

(2) 

Water rates for nonresidents: 1 1/2 times the above rates itemized under Subsection (A) water rates inside the Village.

(3) 

Water rates for multiple-family units and mobile home parks.

(a) 

First 1,000 gallons per month per unit: minimum charge of $16 per month.

(b) 

Over 1,000 gallons per month per unit: $0.0095 per gallon.

(B) 

The above rates shall increase by 3% annually beginning May 1, 2019.
